Has anyone ever told you that boxers have the best physical conditioning of any sport? Look up the benefits of boxing online and you’ll consistently find that boxing is one of the best workouts for total body conditioning and strengthening, and increasing both aerobic and anaerobic fitness. And who wouldn’t want a boxer’s abs!?
In order to meet the needs of our diverse members, the Sooke Boxing Club offers a variety of programs, including: fitness boxing, technical training classes, children’s non-contact boxing, and amateur boxing.
The Sooke Amateur Boxing Club:
We currently are led by 6 dedicated individuals who volunteer their time to coach, and who possess a wide variety of experience to provide our members with skills, support, and knowledge to help members achieve their goals through boxing. Learn More

We believe boxing is a way to challenge oneself, whether it be physically or mentally, and that through strength and tenacity, any goal can be achieved.
We are a team that focuses on providing every single person who walks through our doors with a place to feel empowered, confident, strong, and accepted. Whether you are 7 years-old or 70; male or female; and whether you plan to get in the ring, or just learn how to throw a punch, or get a good workout; this is the place for to learn and grow.
We are more than just a gym. We are a sense of community, defined as a feeling that members have a belonging, a feeling that members matter to one another and to the group, and a shared faith that members’ needs will be met through their commitment to be together.
